Visions of the Never Seen: Book One: The Unveiling
While reading this book (which is very religious but if you can get through all of that it is actually a really good book) i came upon one of the best lines i have ever read in any book i have ever read.
“Can I get you anything from the cafeteria?”
“Yeah, a cheeseburger” said a soft voice.
I think i have to explain the context to really understand this line though. A child is in a coma and the mom is obsessing over being with her son. Then a nurse comes in and begs the mom to go to the cafeteria to get something to eat. Perfect line.
This might be a little bias because the character describes me so well and if you do look up the book they are trying to make it into a movie (which i am currently trying to work on because i know the author and the fact that she wants me to audition for the part of Billy who is the one that said this line.) So yes there is a little bias because as i read his lines i think of myself but then again it is so easy to because i feel like the character was written just for me.
Anyways i am going to back to reading the book. You should check it out because it is really good.
